Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Comprehensive Analysis for a Sustainable Infrastructure Investment Fund in Indonesia Long-term finance; particularly in the form of private equity (PE); could play a larger role in supporting sustainable infrastructure investments in Indonesia. PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) is a private national non-bank financing institution (NBFI) focused on providing infrastructure financing and advisory; established in 2010 by the Government of Indonesia; the World Bank Group (WBG); Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other multilateral institutions. IIF-s core purpose is to accelerate and improve private sector participation in Indonesia-s infrastructure sector by providing long term financing and advisory services It plays a vital role by supporting the flow of private capital into infrastructure development and reallocating resources from carbon-intensive to low-carbon and climate-resilient infrastructure. With the ongoing balance sheet expansion and its goals for sustainable financing in Indonesia; IIF is now planning to establish a sustainable infrastructure investment fund to further its sustainable finance endeavor and expand the sources for capital mobilization. The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of options for establishing the potential fund which would scale PE investments for sustainable infrastructure projects in Indonesia. The analysis should draw from experiences and lessons from existing sustainable infrastructure funds and other relevant financing vehicles in Indonesia and other emerging market countries to (i) evaluate the feasibility and options of establishing such a sustainable infrastructure fund with IIF; (ii) identify key success factors and (iii) propose the key design features of such a fund.
