Description:
This Prequalification is part of the tender for Component 2.The PLN is alongside PT Pertamina and PT Geo Dipa Energi (GDE) one of the three state-owned companies to develop geothermal capacities and use them to generate electricity on behalf of the Indonesian government. The Indonesian government has ambitious targets for the expansion of geothermal capacities and their contribution to the RE energy transition. Against this background, a capacity assessment and a capacity development and training program including materials must be established and implemented for the long term for PLN to strengthen their capacity in the geothermal energy sector.ETAP Component II shall support PLN in that regard. Training and lecturing shall be complemented by the elaboration of training material consisting of presentation materials, handouts, questions and answers. As a result of the services, PLN shall be strengthened in its role as project planner and decision maker for geothermal projects following international standards.In addition to the training measures, and part of this assignment, the PLN geothermal energy department shall be supported on an ad hoc basis by a panel of expert for distinct problems.
