The SGAC programme objective is to promote a more sustainable urbanization in ASEAN citieswhile reducing its environmental footprint and improving the quality of life for citizens by helping cities develop sustainable financing mechanisms. The Programme is funded by the European Union, implemented by the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in consultation with the ASEAN Working Group onEnvironmentally Sustainable Cities (AWGESC) and the ASEAN Secretariat, dedicated to developing financing solutions to implement smart green city projects.
