Expression of Interest are invited for Estimation Technical Reserves of the National Life Insurer. Publication Date: 04-Feb-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 17-Feb-2022 ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION : - Objective: Providing support for OJK to exercise resolution framework on one of national insurance company through the calculation of actuarial liability Scope: Conduct assessment on liabilities includes: (i) Obtain actual value of the company membership portfolio for both individual insurance and group insurance and (ii) Obtain fair value of the company's liabilities to policyholders Deliverable: If awarded, the primary objective of this consultancy is to provide a fresh assessment of the companys life insurance technical reserves estimates untainted by past experience using international best practice that will allow OJK to compare the results with their current estimate and assumptions used. Whilst the OJK guidance on reserving would be the baseline approach, the consultancy expects a best-estimate reserving in order to understand the immediate capital requirements. The consultancy is expected to adhere to the guidance and principles of the International Actuarial Association
