Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Green Recovery in Agricultural Commodity Production in Jambi To conduct research on the role of agricultural livelihoods and supply chains in an inclusive and green recovery in West Jambi, and options to support sustainable livelihoods and forest management. The Bank is supporting the Government of Indonesia to adopt a landscape management approach, within which various stakeholders and resources are mobilized to improve livelihoods, protect biodiversity, reduce deforestation and carbon emissions, and foster economic growth. As part of this agenda, the Bank aims to provide an assessment of how livelihoods in West Jambi province have changed since the pandemic, focusing on shifts in livelihood strategies, household well-being, and forest cover. This assessment is expected to yield policy-relevant insights on the role of commodity agriculture in a green recovery and assess the potential to support sustainable livelihoods pathways consistent with forest protection goals. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
