Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Life Cycle Costing Analysis for the Electromechanical and Hydromechanical Equipment. Description: The analysis focuses on conducting a comprehensive life cycle costing analysis of critical equipment in the Energy sector, specifically preparing the Project Procurement Strategy for Development (PPSD) and the bidding document of the World Bank-s funded Matenggeng Hydropower Pumped Storage Project. The detailed analysis will cover the acquisition and maintenance costs and evaluate the environmental impact of this equipment. One of the main objectives of this analysis is to contribute to the global agenda of mitigating climate change and reducing the carbon footprint in the contracts being implemented in the energy sector. In addition, the analysis will examine the impact of local versus international competition and local industry development concerning the overall life cycle cost. By providing a detailed assessment of the equipment's entire life cycle, the Bank team will be able to support the PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN)-State Owned Enterprise (SOE), as the Implementing Agency, in hydropower development and management, in informed decision-making and promote sustainable procurement practices in the energy sector.
