Tenders are invited for Prepare and Conduct Skills for Energy Transition Survey The World Bank is seeking to hire a firm to prepare and conduct SKILLS FOR ENERGY TRANSITION SURVEY (SETS) for about 3600 workers in selected 13 districts in 5 provinces in Sumatera and Kalimantan. The data would capture the stock and flow of occupations in these regions' coal and non-coal sectors; and will be then used to assess the skills needed to support workers during the energy transition. Since the consultancy intends to capture occupation-specific skill needs at the worker level during the transition, the sample will specifically target three main groups of workers: coal workers, bright occupation workers, and green job workers. (The definitions for these groups will be provided by the World Bank.) Thirty occupations will be selected from each group, and 40 workers will be interviewed in each occupation. Given the novelty of this survey, we expect a significant time to be allocated to find the “right workers” to be interviewed.
