Tenders are invited for Project Implementation Consultant for Masang-2 Hydro Electric Power Plant Project The Services are to undertake Preparation of Detailed Design, Tender Documents, and Supervision of Construction of the proposed Masang-2 Hydro Electric Power Plant Project. The proposed Project are consisted of main project features and approximation of dimensions as follows: • Weir. Main dimensions are height 20.5 m, width 56.5 m and length 23.35 m • Connection culvert. 3.65 m box culvert with length 878.11 m; • Connection tunnel. Horse shaped diameter 3.65m with length of 1677.07 m; • Dam embankment. Rockfill with clay core with height 46 m and crest length 210 m; • Headrace tunnel. 3.40 m diameter with length 4491.48 m; • Powerhouse. Surface layout 18m width and 58 m length; • Access roads. Asphalt paved with 25.2 km length. • Transmission line 150 kV. Length 38 km. The Project Implementation Consultant services are divided into 2 stages: Stage I : Update of Feasibility Study The feasibility study of the Project was carried out in 2016-2017 and since then certain project parameters might have changed, such as hydrological conditions, geological/geotechnical conditions, catchment land use, technologies, design requirements and so forth. The Consultant is therefore required to conduct an Update of Feasibility Study. The services for Stage I include the following scope of works (whereas the Consultant is responsible for the successful execution of each of the following items): a) Update Relevant Data b) Review and Update of Existing Studies and Documents. c) Determine the required additional investigation program d) Elaboration of an Inception Report e) Additional Works/Investigations f) Comprehensive Risk Assesment Stage II : Project Preparation This stage shall include : (a) Development of Detailed Design (b) Development of Tender Documents (c) Execution of tender and being the leader throughout the contract negotiation and contract award process (supported by PLN)
