Tenders are invited for Regulatory Impact Analysis Concerning Business Conduct of Insurance Companies in Indonesia Considering several concerns that arose as a result of several developments in insurance business practices; including the use of information technology in the company's business processes and developments in the types of products being marketed which have created new risks for the company and consumer protection issues; indicated by the fraud cases; high claim ratios on certain products; insurance company failure cases; and increased consumer complaints; it can be concluded that a review of the effectiveness of POJK 69/2016 concerning Insurance Company Business Conduct which has been in effect for 7 (seven) years needs to be carried out in encouraging sound business practices taking into account the latest developments in business practice. This review will be carried out in the form of a Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) on POJK 69/2016 to determine the effectiveness of implementing the regulation and the potential for strengthening the provisions. OJK-s NBFI Department currently has RIA Implementation Guidelines; but in terms of technical implementation; Technical Assistance from experts who have experience in implementing RIA; especially in the financial services sector; is urgently needed.
