- Expression of Interest are invited for Review on OJK Sustainable Taxonomy 2024. Description: Specifically, Indonesia has taken steps towards the development of sustainable finance. The first phase of the Sustainable Finance Roadmap for the 2015-2019 period was launched by the OJK (Financial Services Authority). As part of this roadmap, the OJK issued regulations concerning sustainable finance for financial services institutions, issuers, and public companies (POJK 51/2017), as well as regulations on green bonds (OJK Regulation No.60/2017) in the same year. Additionally, the Government passed Law Number 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (UU P2SK), which mandates the Ministry of Finance, OJK, and BI (Bank Indonesia) to support sustainable finance and coordinate in the formulation of sustainable finance policies and programs. This includes the preparation of a sustainable taxonomy, which will be regulated by Government Regulations. The consulting firm will be required to conduct benchmarks to identify and learn from the best practices in other countries regarding the development process and reference for taxonomy documents. This will involve studying the experiences of other countries that have successfully implemented sustainable taxonomies and using them as a reference for Indonesia Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance (TKBI) development.
