- Expression of Interest are invited for Women and Youth Empowerment in Farming Practices, Digital Technology, Health and Nutrition IFC seeks a consultant firm to conduct Women and Youth Empowerment program on Farming Practices, Digital Technology, Health and Nutrition in cocoa communities in two districts in South Sulawesi (Luwu Utara and Luwu Timur); and one district in Lampung Timur (Pesawaran). The consultant firm will perform the following activities during period April 2022-September 2023: (1)identify women leaders in communities and work with women leaders in improving adoption of recommended practices in cocoa farming,health and nutrition; (2) conduct field measurement of number of farms that adopted improved practices by visiting individual farms; (3) facilitate 6,000 farmers to learn from e-cocoa app, including 1,800 women; (4) conduct women specific activities (financial literacy training, health/nutrition training & practices); & (5) capture lessons (business case) of impact of gender to productivity & farm profitability; farm financing uptake; household saving, & household ownership of bank account The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment / services described below under the following: - BANK BUDGET - KIPP Farmer Capacity Development Through Digital Platform and Financing The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
